It's been so nice to see that there's many of us who wouldn't be driving but for the midwifery. And, let's all remember, if we make even on family's life better by being there for their birthing, it's worth that carbon footprint.

Alison, I had no idea that so many midwives started driving for the same reason. I just learned that mine also was horrifed of driving before she apprenticed. Nice to have company.
