I was a SARK fan and a devoted member of her online Marvelous Message Board up until about a year ago.

SARK would regularly participate in the message board, and some really shady stuff happened there with people trolling and actually harassing members in real life.

The security of the board was questioned, and SARK made several public promises about securing the board and cooperating with authorities regarding the real life harassment of some members by trolls who obviously got their info from the SARK data base, but ultimately, nothing changed and whenever anyone posted on the message board about when the answers SARK had promised were going to be delivered, the admins would ban the member.

Some of these people had been long-standing members of her community. Paying, contributing members. I felt that it was a really bad business practice to sweep the unsavory stuff under the rug when one of SARK's mottos was:

Speak the truth faster.

It bothered me that legitimate questions were ignored and anyone who didn't tow the line was dismissed...so I have pretty much boycotted SARK. I'm a pretty firm believer in the "practice what you preach" ideal, and SARK was certainly not practicing what she preached.
