"The Lucifer Effect" - Anybody Else Reading It?

Anybody reading "The Lucifer Effect"? OK I will admit I only discovered my interest in this book because I saw the author on the Daily Show :. Anywho, I am finding it really interesting and simultaneously highly disturbing! I'm hoping my view of this will improve at the end when the author discusses ways to resist the pressure of The System..unfortunately that doesn't come until the end!

I'd really like to discuss this book, because it has provided me with some amazing insights. For those who don't know, the book is essentially expanding on what was learned in the Stanford Prison Experiment, and discusses "acts of evil" in the context of the system or situation which lead to them, rather than wholly blaming the individual. Eh, I suck at writing synopses, read here:

I haven't but will add it to my list. Maybe somewhat similar, I'm just waiting for my place in line (ah, the library!) to read Barbara Coloroso's Extraordinary Evil: Why Genocide Happens.
