How long do most women normally bleed? I will be 8 weeks pp this week and I am still slightly bleeding. For about 6 weeks it had a terrible smell but now thats gone. Its not a lot, but I have to wear a pad and its slimy and stringy. At 4 weeks I passed a blood clot. Is this normal? I have never bled this long.

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

after ds1 i bled for seven weeks. after about three weeks i actually had a small piece of placenta come out (dime sized) which is why i had fresh blood for all those weeks i think... then it slowed down and i was almost done by six weeks. then i had what seemed to be a period during the seventh weeki! (heavy red blood for a few days and about four more days of bleeding) then it stopped.
i'm not sure what's "normal" but if it seems like it's slowing down, i'd think it was ok.
