The left side of my throat is swollen with red welts on it. The right side is absolutely fine, and I have no other symptoms other than my normal spring allergies (which are better than they have been for the last two weeks). This started yesterday when I woke up - the whole left side of my head felt swollen, but now it has subsided to just the swollen throat and welts. Any ideas? I feel absolutely fine (no fever, pain, etc) so I doubt it's strep, but it is very weird . . .
Could it just be from allergy postnasal drip? But I've had that lots and never had the welts.
