Lovebaby... I think... Happy Hangup?

I think I remember reading/seeing a pic of your newborn in a happy hangup. How are you liking it? I am trying to decide whether or not to get one.

Also, did you buy a stand for it, or how are you hanging it?

I it! She snuggles in so well and sleeps great. Even at just a week old as she wiggles, it gently starts to sway and soothes her back down. I just wish I'd gotten one w/ my first 3 non-sleeping up all night babies. This is the first newborn I've had that I haven't been just flat exhausted, KWIM? If you get one I'd order it from ebay. I emailed the people who sell it and bought the cushion, too, and got a reduced price in shipping them both together. I got it in 2 weeks (maybe a little less) from Australia which is pretty impressive.

We hung it from an eye hook that DH installed in the rafter in our ceiling. We didn't buy the stand since the footprint was *huge* and we have no room for it, but thought about buying a travel hammock chair stand if we ever needed one for going places.

thanks for the reply! i really think i want one, but i think i need a stand too. i want to be able to move it around. hmmmm. so the company that sells them on ebay is the company that makes them?

either it's the same company or they are a wholesaler and facilitate the transaction, KWIM? at any rate, it's the real deal and was shipped safely and very fast. I would have totally got the stand from them at the same time except we just don't have room for it at all here. When we get our own house though I think I'll be getting a stand though.

And...she's slept anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 hours at a time in there. My other kids didn't sleep that long until they were almost 1 I think! : So, either she's just really laid back and would sleep anywhere or it works like magic!!

I'm lurking from DID. I've been looking at Happy Hangups and ambys. I really want the HH. I NEED one. I wish that the HH's were easier to get. We'd need the stand to, but it's so ugly!

DO you think it will really for for a kid who is up to 3?
