looking for advice for positioning twins at 36 wks

I'm at 36 wks expecting boy/girl twins. Twin A (the boy) is on my right side, breech with his feet near his bottom, facing in toward my navel. He's slanted just enough that his feet and edge of his bottom are over my cervix, though not engaged at all.

Twin B (the girl) is on my left side, also facing in toward my navel and vertex, but she can't engage because A's feet and bottom are in her way.

Up until now the various HCPs have told me not to worry about position. Meanwhile I've judiciously slept on my sides, not reclined, kept knees lower than hips, done pelvic tilts, etc. Now, at 36 wks, the back up OB is telling me to prepare myself for a c/s because the chances of the twins finding a better position (and the chances of getting our birth center birth!) are slim to none. Our midwife has recommended spending 15 min. daily with hips elevated (belly up) to encourage A to move out of the way and B to move down into my pelvis. I'm also doing the spinning babies technique of 5-10 min. at a time of head down, hips high with my belly hanging. DH usually helps by massaging the babes to encourage direction of movement and talking to them.

I've been researching this and not sure where to concentrate my efforts. I'm thinking of adding the homeopathic pulsatilla, but have seen too many differing dosage recommendations.

We don't need to flip the breech, just shift him a little bit out of the way, though having both babes vertex would clearly also be fine.

FYI this is my first full term pregnancy. Twins are estimated at 6lb and 5lb 14 oz now and the placentas have not fused; both are well placed.

Do any of you have experience positioning twins? Any advice? Thanks.

I'd try the pulsatilla - it's 30c one time, then the next day another dose. that's all I've used and I've seen it work a few times.

There's always moxabustion, too.

Just an encouragement to say that there's still room in there for babes to move around!!!

I'm almost 38 weeks with twins estimated to weigh 8.5 lbs each and twin b still manages to flip around in there... at the last u/s, we realized that she takes one position when I'm on my side, and a totally different one when I'm on my back.

No advice for what will work best, just wanted to encourage you that they CAN still move! Best of luck...
