Kool Aid?

This may be a silly question, but how do you dye wool covers with kool aid? just saok them or what? I have a new aristocrat coming and want to make it really fun, you know?

You can also use plain old food coloring and white vinegar for wool and silk dye. You just don't get the sugary sweet smell!
