this year is weird

So I am due on Sunday (Mother's Day), and my birthday is on Wednesday the 16th. I just noticed that these 2 events that I usually look forward to have totally taken a backseat to the big event. Every year, I am thoroughly gleeful: 2 days specifically to celebrate ME and gorgeous weather. This year, I cannot care less. I am so focused on the impending birth right now, that I feel like it is the only I can get excited about.

Does anyone else feel this about Mother's Day? Or a birthday if it's in the neighborhood of your new child?

Well a baby born on Mothers day would be quite the gift.

Its the day I am counting down to as the first day that work for giving birth to this baby. It works in well with dh overtime work schedule. How that! Stay put baby so Daddy can make more $$$

It would be one hell of a gift on either day, wouldn't it?

And I hope your baby stays put for you. A little extra cash around these times is always a good thing. Hey, our babies are arriving in the year of the Golden Pig, so maybe they will be really good luck somehow in the financial arena?
