I had my ultrasound today. It was great. I teared up at one point. It just all seems so real now. There is a little baby there that my DH and I made. The baby is measuring big, a full week larger than my LMP says.
Also.....the big news...it's not 100% and the tech wouldn't say much but she hovered around a spot and asked me to look. She then said if she had to guess she'd think my guess of it being a girl is wrong. I saw what really looked like boy parts. She said girl parts get swollen at this stage so we could be wrong but we all looked and thought it looked like a pee-pee, as my son calls it. We'll get one more u/s at 20 weeks and confirm then but I'll be really surprised if it turns out to be a girl. So I guess my dream and my acupuncturist and my gut were all wrong about it. I could care less and I'm just so happy that the tech told me that to her everything looked fine. She said the MW has to confirm everything and she may want to move my due date up but she wasn't sure about that. I'd be happy to go earlier if the baby wants because I'd like to have this one and my son as far apart in b'day's as possible and his b'day is Dec 7th.
