Tightwad Gazette II

Hello to All,

I am not sure what forum I should post this in, but I thought I would try here first.

I have 2 copies of The Tightwad Gazette II that I would like to give away. They are not in perfect shape... the covers are a bit worn and the edges have a bit of staining. They are still thoroughly usable books and I know all of the TGs have helped me stay afloat through the years so I want to pass these along as a gift.

None of my friends IRL has a shred of sense when it comes to money, well, the one that does has her own copies already. Anyway, reply here if you want one, first 2 replies each get one. We can do address stuff through PM. Oh, and I am happy to pay the shipping, it shouldn't be much.

Bright Blessings,

gargirl

PS. sorry if this is the wrong forum for this.

Really? I'd love to have a copy. I was just thinking I should go to my library to look for one - but the last time I was there the selection was awful.
This is so generous of you! Thank you!!

Excellent!

Okay, missingthetrees and MommaCrystal you each have one.

PM your mailing addresses and I will send them this weekend. (You both noticed this is book 2, right?)

To any who missed this time: I shop at tag sales all summer and snag any TGs I see so I can pass them along, so I may well post a similar offer again.

Cecimami, tag sale, garage sale, yard sale.... all the same. I think different terms are used more in different regions is all.

I always buy the Tightwad books whenever I see them even though I already have them and don't know anyone IRL who would appreciate them. I like to give them away to people that want them. As I find them I will post here about them, I promise. Good luck hunting one down. Used bookstores might also have them, though honestly they are worth every penny of their full price if you have no alternative.

Even if your library doesn't have a copy, you could ask if they do an interlibrary loan!

I don't want the whole book but can someone PM me the granola recipe?

(I have the book in storage in the US, my mom was supposed to mail it to me March 2006.)
