DS is 3 weeks old and we are cosleeping, but we both get too hot and sweaty (hormones?) What do you wear to bed? What does babe wear?

Abby: a diaper, sometimes a tee shirt because it absorbs her sweat instead of the sheets, she usually is covered with a sheet
Me: nothing, always have a sheet covering me
Both: ceiling fan is on low or medium

We both sweat too - I usually sweat more if Abby is right next to me so I usually sleep a couple of inches away

I can't always tell if it's sweat, milk or pee! Waking up is a pretty damp affair here. I wear a cotton skirt or pants, baby wears a diaper and onesie.

It's hot and sweaty here too. I have to wear at least a bra and some breast pads or I wake up in a huge sticky puddle. Daniel is usually in a dipe and a onesie.

We had a few chilly nights where I put Ronan in footed sleepers. Otherwise, he's been wearing either a diaper and a kimono tee (really hot night without AC) or those little slug cozies (elastic-bottom dresses).

Our room generally starts out very cool (from AC running during the day), but ends up very warm by morning (sunlight). We typically dress him very lightly right now, then swaddle him in a lightweight receiving blanket. I unwrap him for his early morning feed and don't reswaddle. He's been feeling pretty good with this method--hands and back warm, but head isn't sweaty.

Kyra wears a diaper and soaker only. I don't wear anything on top. I use a towel to catch any milk drips. I also have a towel on the bed, and I can throw it on the floor and get a dry one if either gets too wet.

Does your babe sleep right against you or a little bit away?

here too! but i think i do sweat a lot right now! it was really quite cold here until recently, so i had him in one of those "dresses" (as i call them, i have NO idea what they really are called)

now i put him in a onesies and i actually lay a receiving blanket between my arm and him--it seems less sweaty then. (he usually sleeps right against me)

I try to keep her away (cooler for both of us) but she always rolls towards me.

I like the sleep gowns for easy diaper changes. He usually sleeps right next to me, although I have been having my husband sleep in a bunk bed so I can move around easier and be more comfy.

My baby sleeps right up against me. Yeah, we sweat a little, but not too much.

He sleeps just close enough that he can find a boob if he turns, although last night I felt pretty special that he chose to snuggle up just as close as he could, tummy to tummy He was hugging a boob with both arms so I can't take it as too much of a personal compliment.
