? for midwives

I am facing a repeat c/s tomorrow. I am ..or was supposed to be... a HBA2C. I am 1 cm. Baby is low. My mw is going to come to break my water. We have done every other kind of induction method.

Would you do it or should I just have the rcs? She can only take me at home till 42w (today). We know my dates are right etc etc. I am not comfortable going UC or just showing up pushing somewhere, since it could be days or even weeks till it happens.

I would do it....and if the head is down, i would then take a long walk, do nipple stimulation and see what happens.
Seems like 50/50 chance...but worth a try.
If you know a homeopath you could try a rememdy to induce labor....
Good luck to you...

Not a midwife, but I would do it, too.

Good luck and peace to you!

Well, I'm not big on interventions...but when faced with the choice of surgery, why not try? what;s the worst that could happen?

Update us and let us know how things are going....

Not a midwife, but I would definately do AROM (since baby is low and you've tried everything else) before any repeat cesarean birth! Good luck, I'll be praying for you and baby to have a smooth and beautiful homebirth.

If I felt like everything was okay, I'd do what I had to do to avoid a cesarean.

Maybe you're already holding that baby but as long as the baby was low I would do it to. I would do anything to avoid surgery.
