I've been having ctx q15-20, but I don't expect any action till the kids are in bed tonight. Just puttering around, doing laundry and tidying (just like the last 8 days!).

It's probably a good thing that the bean didn't decide to come today (I feel safe in saying that with 3 hours left) - I would never live it down. It's the date that the wheel said was my EDD by LMP. I have short cycles and ovulate early, so my calculated date was last week... My mom, among others, has kept asking me, "when is the real due date?". If the baby had come on the 11th, I would never live it down!

Any of the next 3 days would be awesome -

the 12th is my sweet niece's birthday,
the 13th is Mother's Day (and it would be cool to have birthday parties on Friday the 13th)
the 14th is my biological mother's birthday (and her sister, my sweet aunt's as well).

So we're just going to go about stuff as normal tonight and see what comes about -- our local hearse club is meeting up and tailgating to see Ghostbusters at the midnight movies. I made new curtains for our hearse tonight - they're really cute black with white polka dots. Our boys are stoked to see Ghostbusters on the big screen!

Our babies may share a birthday so I'll be watching for news from you.

Safe and easy birth to you, Gina!

Tonight - some improvement! After sporadic contractions all day and much more bloody show, I'm having contractions 8-10 minutes apart that require some attention. Hopefully the next time I post, it will be with an annoucement! Send the vibes on over here!!!!

We have a baby!

Minerva Gabriel was born into water this morning at home at about 8:15. Labor was fairly short and sweet, starting up for good at around 3:30 this morning (After prodromal labor for Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Everyone is happy and cute!

She weighs 8 lb, 9 oz (petite after my boys!) and is 20" long. Today would have been my biological mother's 50th birthday. We are all thrilled!
