I'll be away July 27 through August 4th so please don't a-pick me then!

Also, I might go early, so if you're able to do it before the last week in October (I went at 35 weeks last time) that would be AWESOME!

I don't think there is any harm in having weeks where there are two threads so more mamas can play.

I know just how much work something like this can be, and its very appreciated. Thanks for doing this!

You could begin doing a "Meet _______" thread instead of weeklies and then letting them go until they fizzle out. Then there will be plenty of time to fit everyone in. Just start 2 a week or so.

Hi there. The last time we posted about this I thought I was on the list but this looks like a new thread. I was away this weekend and it looks like some people pulled it up top again.

We have a very busy month, November! I would love to be part of the lottery but I may be too late getting online. : Its still awful fun to read or participate in other folks' mama of the week.

I know Robina hasn't replied yet, but I'm willing to help out with starting spotlight threads if you need it mama. I'd hate for mamas (myself included) to be left out just because there would be more than one a week.

However, it looks like you already said you'd do some bonus 2 mama weeks. If you'd rather not want that responsibility just lmk where on the list you're stopping and I'll pick up from there.

Of course this is only if you need and want help. You're doing such an awesome job so far!!!

i'm pretty sure you're on the list -- my husband is on the computer with that document right now, so i'll check tomorrow, but i seem to remember you being on there!

thanks for the offer! i think i'm keeping up okay as long as everyone agrees. i will try my darndest to fit everyone in there. as long as it's okay with everyone else, again, i'll probably do two mamas a week once in a while. we don't have *so many* extra that we'd need to do this too often. i have been and will continue to keep tabs and see if anyone's dropped out of the ddc, too -- gone mia or whathaveyou. i know on our early planning thread there was a definite preference to showcase mamas who remained active. obviously i would consider a very long hiatus in posting being "mia," but if some mamas do stop posting that will free up some weeks as well.

i just want to reiterate -- i've been told about "blackout" dates by a few mamas already (like holisticmama above)-- ie weeks when they'll be on vacation or weeks when they'll be posting more because they have the summer off from work, etc. if anyone has issues like this, feel free to pm! so far it's been pretty easy to keep track of. (of course, no one's been like "don't showcase me the week of october 2nd because i have a wedding the saturday of that week." )

I'm not sure where I am in the queue, but I just wanted to let you know that I'll be out of town and out of internet range July 3-8 and August 6-17. We'll be camping for most of both trips.
