Button making machine?

Y'know the kind for making your own little buttons, the kind with the pin on the back. I wanted to get one and use it to make funny message buttons or cute little graphics, or photos of dd for the grandparents.

I am at a loss on the right machine to buy or who to buy it from......any ideas?

I had fun with my toy one when I was a kid. I noticed Joann Fabrics had one in their kids' craft section. Michael's Craft store sells individual pins that you can put a photo in.

I think Badge-A-Minit brand is the sturdiest way to go. You can get older ones on eBay all the time, and they are even having a big sale right now.

Cool! Thanks SneakyPie.

And that's neat that Michaels has individual pins too. Thanks 4ever.

Joann or any fabric store should have tiny little kits, for about $3. They are super easy. I mean REALLY easy - and the buttons look amazingly good. I think the brand is Schmetz or something like that - the same that makes all those other notions and tomato pin cushions....

craftster has a thread about it. I had a badgeaminit but there are some other ones they say are easier to use and make better buttons.
