Anyone know how we can see this? Will it be produced on DVD? Her website on her film, "The Business of Birth" (I think that is it), doesn't say how us "common folk" that live outside of New York City can view it....

I signed up for the email list and this is what they sent out last week. I hope it gets released soon, I already can't wait to see it again!

Thank you for signing up to receive news about our documentary "The Business of Being Born."

As many of you know, we just had our world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, where we had an incredible week with four sold-out screenings and standing ovations. Thanks to all of you who were able to attend and spread the word! We are convinced that this film will succeed by word of mouth and are so appreciative of all the great feedback we are getting!

We are in the process of trying to select the best theatrical distributor and television outlet for the movie. We should be able to make our plans public soon, but do not have any additional screenings scheduled at this time. We realize that many of you have written to inquire about where you can see the film or purchase a DVD. As soon as we have those details, you will be the first to know! Our goal is to get this film seen all over the US and make sure that it is accessible to a wide audience. We are eventually planning to create an educational version of the DVD which can be used in academic settings and childbirth education classes.

The website is also still in development, so please check back regularly at www.thebusinessofbeingborn.com as we are planning to add links to all the press on the movie, clips from the movie, production stills, TV appearances and links to more information about midwifery and childbirth options. We appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you have, so feel free to contact us at info@thebusinessofbeingborn.com.

Best Wishes,

Abby Epstein, Director & Ricki Lake, Executive Producer
The Business of Being Born

P.S. Look for Ricki on the cover of US Weekly this Wednesday!
