Starving but sick

I'm so grateful to be pg, but I'm getting a bit frustrated.

I'm hungry constantly. I'll eat a meal, feel sick to my stomach for an hour and then be starving again. If I immediately eat, I'm sick. If I wait too long to eat, I'm sick.

Yesterday I was so sick I could barely move and dh was forcing me to drink because I was gettting too dehydrated!

I was sucking on Jolly Ranchers to help with the nausea, but now I have a blister in my mouth from all the sucking.

I just ordered some morning wellness tea from earthmamaangelbaby.com but in the meantime, what do you do to not feel as sick but stay healthy?

Also, I keep getting woozy and nearly falling over when I stand up. DH is worried that I'm too dehydrated and that's why I'm woozy, but I think it's just a symptom I get to have this time.

I'm so tickled to be pg, but I don't remember being this sick ever!

Mama I think not eating enough food could definitely make you woozy....I wonder if drinking something like gatorade (which can help keep your electrolytes balanced) would help. Or drinking some clear chicken broth.

What foods seem gentle on your stomach? Crackers? Rice? Pasta? Seems like it would be helpful to stick to those things temporarily until this passes... Keep us posted.

Honestly, there is no rhyme or reason to what makes me sick right now. This morning I felt amazing and ate 3 bowls of cereal and still feel okay.

But, that was an hour ago, and I'm starting to feel really hungry and sick and the thought of cereal is now really upsetting my stomach.

I'm kind of just eating whatever sounds safe atm.

I'm drinking constantly, but I'm now only drinking kool aid because water gags me (don't ask me why---it's water!).

Maybe I should go get some gatorade too and see if that will sit.

At least this part doesn't last long!

I hear ya! For me the nausea seems to stick with me 24/7 and pretty much nothing I do or eat seems to help. Sorry...that's probably not very encouraging.

So far what seems to agree with me is carbs, some dairy products, and generally bland(er) things. Foods that don't really *smell* is of the utmost importance...which makes it kind of difficult to cook anything. Staying horizontal also seems to help a lot.

Otherwise...altoids seem to take the edge off for me.
