Hi, I am not actually a gay mom, but I saw this thread and just had to offer hugs and support.

Whatever the situation, it matters so little how a child is concieved, who carries it etc. What matters is who LOVES a child, who looks after them. Kids have a far easier time accepting all kinds of people than adults do in my experience. And it is not a bad thing for kids to have non-traditional families/parents etc, it is a good thing! I think kids raised in these families are more compassionate and more understanding.

My semi_adoptive dad tells me: "Go where the love is." Meaning spend time and energy and love on folks who love you, support you and cheer you on. Consistantly negative people are nothing but a drain, so leave them alone.
