Harmful Visions/Dreams?

I have to know if anyone else has gone through this, as I'm feeling a little crazy. I am 37 wks and about 2 weeks ago I started to have these visions (usually when I am awake and not sleeping) that someone's hand is coming at my belly with a knife. It is not a surgical-type scalpel or anything, but a sharp kitchen knife. I can't see a face or the whole person, just a hand and a knife.
It will just come out of nowhere when I am doing other things. I don't feel stressed. I am very relaxed and prepared for my hb and this is my second baby. I really don't feel as if I have any fears. I managed a natural birth with #1 in the hospital and never had any knife/needle interventions that would cause these images.
Anyone else have this happen (or similar scary images)?
I am thinking that I have things to deal with or this wouldn't be happening. I am very spiritual and have been praying, reading scripture and reading my Ina May birthstories for the umpteenth time. It is happening less, but still there.

I'm sorry to hear that - it must be distressing to say the least! Depending on your belief system, you might be having a past-life or archetypal memory popping up in your consciousness. I would suggest finding someone in your area that does energy healing work such as EFT, Seemorg Matrix Work, or Reiki, who can help you clear out the old energetic trauma. I have no advice, but you're probably right that there's some anxiety somewhere causing this image to appear in your mind. You might try seeking answers through a spiritual organization (if you're a member of one) or through meditation or a psychotherapist.
