Anyone bought anything yet for babe??

We are having our fourth and we will need to update on a few things. We have not bought one thing yet and I am also almost possitive that is is a girl this time. Sooooo..... Do you think it is too early to buy stuff? I'm almost 14weeks. Anyone else bought anything? If so what?:
Not a thing! It's my fourth too. I'm just going to wait until I find out what the sex is - and even then, I am not sure I really NEED anything. But I want to buy something, just so I can finally get excited about this pregnancy. I've been so sick and stressed and I want to be happy!

Well, we don't need much and we won't know the gender for another month or so.... But I did get some little tiny PJs I just couldn't resist And before I was even pregnant I bought a Christmas sleeper at an amazing after Christmas sale. ($1.50 for a $20 Carter's sleeper! I couldn't resist) Oh, and some Hanna PJs that were on sale this week

I have been watching Craig's List and Freecycle for a changing table, but I'm thinking now I might just use my dresser. So, no, nothing major. I've promised myself I'll wait until after u/s to get out the old stuff and take inventory.

Well, I've spent a fortune on acupuncture... But, that probably doesn't count, huh?

Honestly, I'm still coming to terms with the fact that I'm pregnant again! And, trying to survive hyperemesis. It will probably be awhile before I buy anything. For dh's sake, I need to go through what we have before I buy anything new. I tend to drive him a little bonkers sometimes...

YES

i have bough some really cute gender non-specfic littel outfits at the consignemnt store. and a couple of cute saying oneis at target (I got he tax deduction one, DH works for IRS and I wanted one for T as Dh is so excited to have the baby before Dec 31....so when i saw one before i was pregant this time, while TTC, i got it so i will have it).

i always watch the "get rid of it" sales (liek the 75% off stuff) and buiy for the baby cloest -- i and both siters have one -- we buy stuff on really good sales that are so cute and put them away -- then when family or freid have babies -- we go to the baby cloest and choose stuff -- i have 50 $ outfits hanging in there i spent 3 bucks for !! it is fun, and makes our baby gifts nicer for less money. sooooooo when i have a boy or girl, and sis who is due 4 days after me, i can cull out the baby cloest for us -- according to gender and season.

i am getting a new carrier this week -- for Theo -- to move him up to a back carrier, but the baby will be in it sometime too. so that kinda counts.

we don't need much -- Theo is only 18 months this week......so mostly it will be girl clothes if we get a girl, and some new boy stuff if we get a boy, but not as much...but some so that in all the photos the new one doesn't feel theya re wearing T's stuff ALL the time.

I am also going to make a moby wrap -- but haven't done it yet.

i have ordered a couple of new small diapers for the new one -- so they have a few differnt ones.

Just diapers.

4 small diaper covers is all so far.

I am going shopping for a baby shower tonight, and MUST resisit buying cute little clothes lest DH lose it.

I ordered some small dipes thru a coop here and hope to get them this summer. Our previous cloth dipes, while serviceable, were not too exciting, so it'll be nice to have a few new fancy things for this babe.

Aside from that, not sure that we'll need much. Most of DD's clothes were GN, at least the smaller stuff. We did borrow a lot of the bigger stuff that only got used occasionally (Swing, jolly jumper) so I might try to borrow these again, or just skip them altogether.

Just diapers and wool.

diapers!

This too is my fourth but we got rid of most everything because we thought DH was getting the Big "V" but babies dont need too much anyway so I am not stressed....yet....I would like a changing table this go round...I have never had one and my back is TOAST so....

Ok I digress to answer the question

yes I have bought 2 pairs of soft sole shoes, my mama bought a blankie and a baby gap 2 piece newborn jammie outfit from Goodwill and I am starting a layaway for dipes at nopins4baby.com tonight or soon....

I got a chunk of diapers from TP. Oh, & a bottle of hand sanitizer.

Dipes and covers (probably way too many ) and a few GN items. We won't find out what this babe is until they arrive. I have one of each, but both were summer babies so all of the super early clothes will be too chilly for this fall/winter babe.

DS is out of his crib (well, he really never used it) and in to a toddler bed so we will have that crib to sidecar to our bed for this babe. They'll share a changing table but we'll need another dresser probably. DS currently shares one with DH and I.

Oh, on my must have list are a moby wrap (already have a mei tai that I love) and a new glider... Mine has fallen to pieces, and was never good to start with but has been a life saver on long nights.

So far we have picked up a few GN gowns and sleepers at the thrift store, some were 40c! I also dug through the clothes I had saved from DD and there were lots of GN things in there, but also lots of pink. We brought up the GN things and put them into the dresser hubby built from a kit from Target. Also, got a cheap pack of prefolds for spit-up or spare dipes, brought up some of DD's old blankies and bibs, and a package of outlet covers.

The IL's took me shopping for maternity clothes on Mother's Day and we picked out some cute new GN clothes at the mall- lots of sets that are mix and match. Also got 2 pkgs of tiny little socks.

I don't need many big things even though I didn't keep a lot from DD. Top of the list are: carseat, sling, cloth dipes and covers or AIOs, baby bathtub, and breastpump. I wouldn't mind having a swing either. I kept her changing table and her play center/walker-type thingy.

We won't be finding out gender til birth.

I'm looking forward to more thrift store visits and hitting some yard sales this summer!

Manda (ETA- I'm 14 weeks along today.)

Haven't bought anything here-probably more because ds doesn't really like sitting in a shopping cart while I look. He'd rather run around the store and hide in the racks! And we're getting our house ready to sell so all the extra money is going to fixing it up.
nope. the only things we'll be getting will be a new sling, new dipes, a king size bed, and some clothes. i'll probably do all of that in october.
Yup!

I've bought some cloth dipes, 2 slings, some plain white onsies, some sleepers (garage sales baby!), and other baby stuff. There was the annual HUGE city wide garage sale at the next town over. I cleaned up. I couldn't even carry everything in the house at one time...lol, only spent $35 though!

We have 4 sleepers and that's it. I'll start buying once I find out the sex... plus, my mom keeps warning me not to buy much because she's planning a baby shower.

I have not bought a single item yet. I really wanted to be surprised this pregnancy, but DH can't take the suspense, so we are finding out the gender. After the u/s I will have Dh go shopping with me and we will buy an outfit for the baby, but I am really hoping to get a new glider too. I know someone else mentioned that as well. I am trying to decide on what baby carriers I would like to purchase. I have a feeling I will go crazy for those and need to find some sense of self control.

Last time I was superstitious and didn't want to buy anything "too" early. She ended up premature and we were ready just in time, as in two days before she came!

So this time I am allowing myself to buy things and start nesting as early as I want to. So far I have bought a baby blanket for this one. The only other things we need are a co-sleeper, a double stroller, a coming-home outfit if it's a girl, and boy clothes if it's a boy. So much easier this time!
