May 7 (2 days late...or so they say)
12:10 p.m.
8lbs 15 oz
21 inches long

first homebirth. Very exciting! I will have to write out my birth story soon, but it was wonderful. Of course when I was labouring I was wishing I was in the hospital with a epidurnal ha!!!

My mom did come and it was good. She loved the homebirth (I think she is a convert!) In fact she was making breakfast for the mw, assistant and everyone while I laboured in the pool in the kitchen just chattting with her.

I didn't go into my bedroom until I felt ready to push! The kids got to meet their brother 15 minutes after he was born!
