Heard the heartbeat > rented a doppler!

I just love the sound so much I immediately came home from the midwife appointment and rented a doppler . The HB was nice and strong and the baby was moving around a bit. Baby's on track with growth so that's always nice to know. I can't wait to hear that sound whenever I want to!

Now at 14 weeks it's finally real!

I rented a doppler too! It's so fun! But Ive onlyheard the baby a few times. Most of the time I hear my HB. But Im only 12 weeks...

Where do you rent your dopplers from? And about how much are they? It *is* very tempting...

the reassurance is great and I ma happy for you but for me, the US(I think it is teh same sound wave as for reg US but I am not sure.. I'll check..) exposure is not acceptable for me.. (sorry to be a downer!! but I'm sure you guys are used to it from me by now!!) when I am having a worry day I certainly WISH I had one!

Yeah I'm not going to go doppler crazy b/c I know lots of u/s waves arenot good for the babe. I'm not having any x-ray ultrasounds done though so I feel like every once in a while with the doppler will be ok. It really sets my mind at ease b/c I had so much worry about not having a healthy baby (I know a bunch of women who have had m/c's lately) plus it's really the olny thing that helps my dd realize there's someone in there. At the mw appt. yesterday, she totally stopped what she was doing and came over to listen and said 'woah.cool!' .

I rented it from a local medical supply place. Only $22 a month and cheaper the longer you rent it. You could probably just google 'doppler rental' and then your state and something should come up. It just came today but I haven't tried it out yet.
