Anyone having them??? I was doing laundry just now and had this weird feeling that felt vaguely familiar but I couldn't quite place it at first... I think it was a BH contraction!!! Really mild and it went away when I sat down, but SHEESH! Can that be starting already???

Wow...this seems really early... Was it just one? Are you drinking enough? Doing too much? Take gentle care of yourself, Mama. Call you hcp if you're worried...it's their job...kwim?

I started having B-H contractions about a month ago (which would have been at about 3 months). It really freaked me out because with my son, I don't think I started having them until I was pretty big. Not to mention, this time they HURT.
Not a lot, but I remember them being very painless last time. Asked the MW and she said they can happen alot earlier in subsequent pregnancies. I notice that If I drink lots of water, they happen much less frequently, and that if I change position, it stops pretty quick.

I don't think you need to worry unless you're getting lots. I guess we're just getting warmed up early

Me. I had a lot yesterday. I realize I have more when I have to pee-pee but don't go right away

I get them early on every time. Last pregnancy started around 10-13 weeks (can't remember exactly when) and I have had them already this time too.

I get them early, often and throughout pg.. I am used to them at this point,, I stay well hydrated but have no choice to be very active esp with twisting torso motions so I ma sure that does not help... my history is two 42 wk pgcy's so, for me, it never initiated preterm (or even term )! labor.. later in PG when I work or am very active I wear a PG support belt and that does help..

Laura - I'm like you, well...I don't go that far beyond my due date, but I do usually go past and I usually have lots of BH. I felt some earlier in this pg, but nothing major since. I'm expecting them to be a regular part of my day quite early, but am not worried about pre-term labor as it's never been a cause of going early before. I even had a nurse ask me during an NST in my last pg if I usually go early because they were picking up a number of decent contractions in the 45 minutes I was there and I think I was only about 30-32 weeks. But I also remember that those BH sensations where already something I had been used to having every day during that pg at that time.

Later in pg I get them tons after dtd - that's why by then, I kind of rather not unless it's night and I'll get to sleep after, but other than that, I get so uncomfortable afterwards that I really don't feel like going much for a while (like half the day).

If heard that they actually start as early as 6 weeks, but you usually don't feel them to much later.

i have had some too, which does seem pretty early to me...i try and take them as a clue to sit down with a glass of water...

i also JUST had a baby, so i thought that was why...my body is primed up?

I've had some already and I am 11.5 weeks. The other night they were actually uncomfortable and I was a bit nervous about why they were getting a bit painful. I went to bed and all was fine.

I think I had a few this week, probably bc I needed to pee! I find I often got then with ds for this reason, and sometimes they continue for a bit after I pee.

*sigh* I am so relieved. I recall seeing this thread last night but I didn't open it because I was headed to bed. As soon as I laid down I felt this little twinge of pain (not bad, but definately noticable) that lasted for about 1 second. I was really freaked out. I felt another couple of them when I woke up this morning. I hope this is normal for me. I am walking on eggshells with this pregnancy...

I've been having them. With my other 2 pg I had them really early too and throughout the whole pg. Too bad it's not what labor really feels like...
