Dr. Bronner's for teeth?

So, my bottle and bar of Dr. Bronners say it can be used to brush teeth.

Is this advisable in light of the glycerin covering teeth part? Anyone do this? I'd love to have one less thing on the counter in the bathroom even if I do have to get used to the foamy taste..

I don't buy the glycerin thing, and I'm very skeptical about conventional products. They say that it doesn't rinse off for 20 rinsings or something, but wouldn't that be like holding a tooth under the tap for the equivilant of 20 rinsings? When in actuality, you're running tooth brushes all over your teeth, your tongue, food, not to mention water, mouthwash, and all sorts of things. I just don't buy it. I say, if you don't have any current dental problems, what does it hurt to try it. Otherwise, I'd go with a product that at least has xylitol, or really one that has bioavailable minerals.

I buy tooth soap from this www.perfect-prescription.com website. They have a new product that's grape flavored & has raw honey added to it. I'm going to try this the next time I order.

What I heard was that the small amount of glycerin naturally found in natural whole soap wasn't problematic- but when they add extra glycerin to products it's potentially problematic.

I use the dr b's peppermint bar soap for toothbrushing.
