Interesting article!! I told DH the other day I'm going to flip through the last few pages when I first get the book and see if Harry dies or not. If he does I might have to put it aside for awhile since I'll be pg and VERY hormonal!!! Please don't kill Harry!!!!! :

What I generally do (at least for the past 3 books) has been to read through them as fast as I can just to get to the end- but this time, I just don't know if that will be possible so I will probably read the first couple of chapters, then skip to the last few pages too. Actually, I may have done that with the last book too since Alden was still fairly young but I don't remember.

Harry is SOOOOO not going to die.

who else thinks it would be a fab idea for Rowling to do a prequel to hp, and write about Lily and James' years at Hogwarts?

Hey, you can't look at the end without reading the rest of the book!! That's cheating!!

Anybody who publicly spoils the end of Deathly Hallows will have Karma to contend with. And just think, anybody that pathetic has to live with him/herself. How depressing.

My top predictions:

Harry lives. That's a statement of fact, really.

Snape is Dumbledore's man.

There is an exception when you're pregnant!!!! I do NOT know if I can handle the hormones...I would get dehydrated crying from reading about Harry's death..I couldn't do it!!!

I think he'll live though...

I think public spoilers should be locked up! It's one thing to go LOOKING for them..But you shouldn't have to accidently run across them!

That would be good, but I think it would be better if she wrote about Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Huffelpuff, and Godric Gryffindor and how they came to start Hogwarts. Now THAT'S a book I'd read!

I'm with your on your predictions girlfriend! Also, on the karma thing - bad karma to all the spoilers. Someone spoiled the end of #6 for my friend's son - I mean, come on - the kid is 11 - get a life dude.

Unfortunately, the book comes out ON MY WEDDING DAY! So I won't be finishing it the day it comes out this time around.

We ARE going to have a small group of people who will likely be reading the book at the reception, though. I have very, very dorky friends.

Oh, what bad timing!! Can't you change the wedding date?

OMG! I love the prequel idea!!! Somebody bribe her with something!

I'm pregnant too... I was despondent when Dumbledore died. I might have to check myself in somewhere if Harry dies...

But, I don't want to ruin the experience... But, I don't want to end up throwing my pregnant self off of the 3-foot front porch...

What to do?!?

LOVE the prequel idea. I'm looking forward to receiving my book in July, but also devastated that it's the last time I will get one. I am obsessed with Harry and his world, and there is only so many times one can read the books over and over.
Personally, I think that Harry will probably die, because that way she can be done with the series and not have people begging her to do more. But then there's the prequel idea.....
I bawled when Dumbledore died. If Harry dies, I don't know what I will do. :

I agree!

Now do remember everyone, the spoiler tags came about during a HP thread that was having issues due to the spoilers so no one forget your spoiler tags!

to create spoiler tags it is *just* like the quote tags only with "spoiler" instead of "quote"

and people can just highlight to read

Warning :: Spoiler Ahead! Highlight to read message!

Um, I think I'd change my wedding date!: Otherwise I'd be tempted to spend my honeymoon reading it!

I WANT to know who dies before I read the book. I can then relax and enjoy it. So feel free to pm me whoever reads the book first!
