I haven't been around in a few weeks - having my baby took longer than expected!

Sawyer James was born on Saturday, May 12 at 2:44 p.m. via c-section - my HBA2C didn't happen, but I did labor at home for about 41 hours before deciding to transfer in.

Everyone is very healthy, but I'm taking it slow and easy recovering from the surgery and just trying to enjoy this baby.

He was 9 pounds 8.2 ounces and 20 inches long. He also doesn't look much like his brothers, and already has a sweet disposition.

It will take me forever to catch up after two weeks off the board, so I'll just say here congrats to all the mommies of the May babies I don't even know exist yet
