I don't know what I would do if I were told those words. It screams of a very hurtful and disfunctional relationship. I have been in a relationship where such exchanges were common, and soon you begin to believe those insults. It takes years to re-program yourself to believe you actually desrve something better, really messes with your head. Also, if your kids hear him speak to you that way, they will continue that in their own future relatioships. I was so shocked by what he said to you that I went back and read other threads you have posted and this is apparently very common, making me even more worried.
