Missing Nov Mamas: Check In!

Thread Starter
Please! There are a handful of previously prolific posters who haven't posted anything in plenty of playfully packed days. If you don't check in soon...you'll have to say that 50 times fast!

Where is ya?

Started a part-time job... decided to tackle a bunch of sewing/mending projects... trying to clean out my closet so I can make room for the maternity clothes!

Side note: Woohoo, I think my energy is back!

Tara, I just read a bit of your blog. So, did your dd wean completely? Congrats to her (if she did, you didn't follow up on that one) and Happy Birthday! And congrats on landing a job! I hope your money issues are over for now.

Thanks Alisha. Yeah, I need to update about the weaning (it did happen) and her birthday. And talk about my DS, I have not written about him in forever either... Perhaps an "update" or "loose ends" post is in order!

Hit the peak of m/s... My laptop died and I'm online about 1/16 as much these days!

12 weeks today and hopefully I'll start feeling better soon. My mom is in town until next Thursday.

I am trying to keep up with the news here though, even if I'm quiet.

I am glad to see this thread, I have not posted in months. It's hard to find time in the day for everything. I am back to work, running the kids around for little league and birthday parties ect.. Everything is going well. I will be 15 weeks this weekend. I wish you all well. Take Care.

I've missed you!

Could it be we're at the peak?!?! I couldn't possibly be that lucky, could I? I WAS SO SICK this week, I thought I wasn't going to be able to handle another day as bad as Wed and Thurs and then I woke up this morning and felt ... dare I say... human. I am not running away to join the circus or anything, but I have had a decent day. I am trying not to get my hopes up.

Hope you're around more soon!

Gina, I think for me it's really started tapering off at 14 weeks...crossing my fingers it will be the same for you!!!

Puking

m/s starts with my second trimester. The puking part anyway. Hope no one else has to deal with late puking....Laura

i'm here! sorry no posting 'til tonight for a while......been real tired. still tired, and will puke when i smell something gross like the stenchy brook we live near if we go for a walk or a dead animal rotting in the sun on the side of the road (that was plain gross...i puked on the road a few times during our walk!!!) or even my lipgloss will taste/smell gross to me and i'll puke. real sensitive lately to smells.

now i have a low grade fever (see my fever post) and i'm a little concerned. don't have a midwife yet so i have no one to call.

Checking in I kinda avoid here since I have hypochondria and if one of ya'll have something bad, so will I! I have also been dealing with some wicked nausea even though I should be over it by now: I will try to keep up more!

Oh poor you! Sounds awful. How long does it last for you? The whole trimester?

What an interesting reason not to post! Too funny. Unless it's not and then I've stuck my foot in my mouth. Well, maybe at some point you can join us again!

Hey Ladies,

I have been feeling some what better. So, I have been trying to get some work done at my job. For a while there all I did at work was eat saltines and post to the MDC boards!

I will be 15 weeks tomorrow. We had an U/S at 13 weeks and all looked good! So now I am not worrying anymore and starting to enjoy this pregnancy. We are taking Bradley classes to prepare for the homebirth and that is going well. DH is trying his best to be a good sport about it for my sake.

Other drama though, my sister's step daughter is pregnant. She is 17. Ugh. She is due Christmas day. It was the last thing my poor sister needed to deal with. That really sucks.

But overall, things are looking up. I am feeling sick after I eat too much, but on the whole the nausea is slowly going away. Yeah!

no, it is funny. I can get symptoms for some crazy diseases once I learn they exist. (like herpes when I was a young virginal ten year old embarrassing )
