Does mom's weight affect feeling movement?

I never felt movement until 21 weeks with my DS. I definitely have some weight to lose and I'm wondering if that would make it harder to detect movement earlier?

Not at all I've heard (and I am big and feel them early). Because you feel them from the inside, you're not hindered by layers of fat.

I have heard that it can, most definitely. It's quite normal to not feel them very early if you are overweight. Doesn't mean that you won't feel them early though.
