Hi, I am trying to compile a list of films that would be suitable to watch together as a family. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for cartoons? Live action?

We really enjoy some of the new cartoons that have come out. Hoodwinked, Incredibles, Cars, Over the Hedge etc. We watch them together and really enjoy them! My children are younger though!

Hi,

I worked for a company called Feature Films For Families; and they had a large assortment of family films to teach values.

Click here to visit their website.

Now, there are a couple locations for this company. If I remember correctly, that site is for the one in Salt Lake City. There's also one in Barrie, Ontario. Their customer service phone number is 1-800-FAMILY-TV and if you
click here; there's information about the company and what they're purpose is.

I hope that helps. PM me if you need more info because I'm not subscribing to this thread.

We have seen all of those except Hoodwinked. I will make a note of that and check it out. My eldest prefers live action films or the 3D animated films like The Incredibles or Shrek. So the traditional Disney cartoons of our generation don't go down well.

Thanks for the link Blu Razzberri.

It depends upon your kids' age.

Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl's moving castle, Kiki's delivery service, Castle in the Sky==all Studio Ghibli movies.

Because of Winn Dixie, Princess Bride, Shaolin Soccer, Holes

I can't think of any more right now, which is crazy because we watch movies all the time.
