Actually, I had a doctor who swore by this method. He said it only worked on kids, though, because only kids would actually believe it would work.

I had a wart on my finger years ago, and, though not a plantar wart, it was very stubborn. I was told that they would need to do surgery and that I would probably have a chunk out of my finger for the rest of my life. While I was still pondering the loveliness of this option, I started acupuncture for infertility. A few sessions later the wart was gone. I have no idea, because I kept forgetting to ask my acupuncturist, if he was treating the wart or if it was just a nifty by-product of other treatment, but, in any event, you might want to call up an acupuncture clinic and see if they know anything.

Self-surgery, lol.
my dad did this to me brother and I when i was 8 and he was 5. it hurt real bad but they never came back. i can still remember the feeling of the root reluctantly letting go and sliding out. i remember the relief of it being over. my dad healed all kinds of things without taking us to the doctor.

I had plantar warts in Junior High school. Sucked very badly- especially running the mile on 6warts per foot! I had all the cryo freeze "treatments" via the Dr. and it didn't help. What finally got rid of mine was my "friend" stole my shoes! I found out later that this "friend" had stole my locker combination and given it to her little sister to use my shoes! This girl was a friend of a friend, and her whole family had Scabies, Lice and Warts all in the same year!!! Very sad, but glad I didn't get anything worse from the situation.

Once they stole my shoes, nike sneakers fyi, my warts went away. I think I had 1 freeze treatment the week they vanished but that was totally the end of it.
I hope you get of your soon! Sending you love, because I felt so yucky when I had mine (granted I was 11-13) Healing Vibes~~~~~

My Grandpa swears by this, except he says you have to rub the edge of the penny on the wart, hard, then throw the penny away.
