I cannot sleep!

Can you?

Every night lately I spend at least an hour and a half just trying to fall asleep and then an additional hour and a half falling back to sleep after I've gotten up for the zillionth time to pee. I can never decide if I should just get up (like I am now) and actually take care of one or two of the things on my "to-do list" or if I should take some Benadryl to knock myself out. I hate to do the Benadryl thing, but, oh man, I gotta do something.

Anyone have any tricks for falling/staying asleep?

I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping, too. (I'm 38 weeks,almost)
One thing that has helped is dh sleeping seperately. I don't worry about keeping him up every time I turn over and I have the whole bed to get comfortable. Often, if I'm really restless, I get up, sometimes shower, make a cup of tea, and read for a little while until I'm tired again. (currently reading from 1001 arabian nights- nice choice because I can read one little story and put it down to try to sleep) I have some oil that I've used for my daughter called sleep rescue. It has rescue remedy and various other essential oils, and a few drops on the back of your neck and temples seems to be soothing. I also mix it with almond oil and rub it on my legs when they are restless and twitchy at night.
I have found that lying there feeling restless and awake compounds things for me. I have to admit to taking benadryl fairly frequently for a while. I still woke up around 3, sleepless.
Another thing that helped with getting to sleep, granted I have a cooperative and willing partner- dh massages my feet, back and hips (wherever I am sore) every night when we go to bed. That really helps me let go.
Lots of pillows have helped as far as positioning discomfort.

Hope some of that helps. Its hard, but soon to pass for sleeplessness of other cause
