We just ordered 26 (24 now after the typical losses) about a month ago of assorted "rainbow" pullets. We even got some easter eggers! (Lays blue eggs) I thought I was the only person around here who wants home layed eggs, way to go!

Jen,
The midwife that I know of that needed more births to get her degree from Utah had to go overseas (Caribbean that type of thing) to get her births in. Happens quite a lot from what I hear of. I know there are midwives aound here that are happy to have apprentices; I'll ask around and see if there are any in your area. Jill, I'm so glad you mentioned the marathon. I've been expecting someone to start a thread for it but since no one has yet, I might as well.

Hello! I live in Minot and am new to the natural living way of life! We have a 9 month old DS. We are going organic more and more each day and make our own cleaning products. We breastfeed, babywear, and AP. I work full time as a preschool teacher. I was happy to see a new North Dakota thread! Thanks!

How close are you to Minot? I'd love to take ds to see your animals if you don't mind. We could have tea and whisper about things like no-vaxing

Mamaprek, what daycare do you work at? I may need to leave ds sometimes but am not sure where and with whom. I don't like a daycare setting though. Is there a vax policy? I'll be in Minot as well on the AFB. How do you like the area? Can I get a baby jersey cow or some chickens if we move off base?

I won't mind going out of country for some births when ds is older. My mom would love to have him come visit when he is off the breast. Also, I'd like to hear more about the marathons stuff. Please tell. I love to be active but find it difficult sometimes if I don't have a goal...other than looking hot and sexy Where is the marathon held, how have you been training, etc?

Hello! My husband and I own a small private preschool called Children's Garden. The state requires immunization records on file, but I happily accept exemption forms.

Yes, this is true -- I thought you were slightly crazy for CD (particularly because you were in it for the CUTE diapers ), but now I'm collecting Fuzzi Bunz colors like they're Pez dispensers.

Hi! I am Steffani. We live in BIsmarck. We are originally from Minot and still get up there quite a bit. We EBF, co-sleep, babywear, non-circ, CD (part time as the boys would leak through at night, they leak through throw aways at night ). We try to eat healthy, organic, etc. We do vax. The kids will be in public school. I have three, Evelyn who is 5, Soren will be 3 in July and Lars is 6 months. I am interested in meeting moms from the area. For the past few months our schedule has been hectic. I hope that now things will settle down and we can go meet some others in the area!

Yes, yet another reason I'm not entirely crunchy. My motives behind CD'ing are almost entirely cosmetic I love how cute they are!!

BTW Jill- I've left you a couple VM's... I'm trying to thin out my CD stash. LMK if you want to have first dibs before I list them on TP.

We have 2 girls, 5 and almost 3. We're homeschooling dd1 for kindergarten, possibly longer.

Thanks for saying I have a cute little son, I think he is too!! We should have a playdate at the ranch sometime soon. I think that would be fun. Maybe we could find a way to carpool out there!

We have friends who have a farm in MN. He raises cattle and grows some crops. But that is the extent for us. I think my girls would love it! Heck, I'd love it!
