Let's please bring this back around to the discussion of political frustration or we'll have to shut it down. Tads of religion in this can be acceptable as it applies to the topic but if the thread turns to discussion of religion as a focus then it's getting off track and off topic for the board. Adn you all know debate is not acceptable in Spirituality so no chance of moving the thread to continue it there.

The last nine posts have nothing to do with this discussion. I can apppreciate the need for humor to keep things friendly but please try to add the humor to your discussion posts rather than stand alone stuff.

If you're frustrated politically post to the thread. If you're not and you have your spirituality to thank for that then please share it in Spirituality, not in Activism. That should help keep the discussion on track and open for posting.

Amen to that! I think that is one of my biggest sources of frustration - like when I was saying for years that someone in our family was an alcoholic and everyone denied it - then years later when the stuff hit the fan the same one returned and said, "Hey, know what? So & so's an alcoholic!" That is how I feel about the US, and I wonder when they are going to see it, too!

Actually the report said that the leading cause of death among pregnan women besides medical complications is murder. They really sensationalized it. MY pregnant SIL called me 5 seconds after the report freaked out, but I had listened carefully when they mumbled about "besides medical complications."
