It seems like every other week my son is coming home with the latest results of his tests... they give "standardized" type tests (multiple choice) all the freaking time.
With the pedagogy that I'm studying ~ it's very clear that's only teaching him to think "in the box" and not explore other options or become an abstract thinker.
It's driving me nuts.
: How can I supplement his instruction at home with abstract thinking type projects / activities without making it seem like just more work?
He's so burnt out.
