Have any of you read The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan? I'm in the middle of it, and I would love reactions from other readers. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. He goes through the history of food, follows food chains to their roots, addresses why we eat what we do, the adulteration of "organic", and alternatives. It is fascinating and he is an excellent writer.

Michael Pollan's writing - he is just so rational. I highly recommend the book.
Has anyone read his In Defense of Food?
