Just a "warning" from a mama here who's new to this forum but a writing mama all the same. After my first was born, I did a LOT of writing, but my brain couldn't focus on what I wanted to write--my novel--and instead I just wanted to write about the incredible experience of being a mom! Now, with my second son 6 months old, I'm finally able to return to my novel a bit more. (Um, yeah. I've been working on said novel for six years, but I'm a full time teacher, and I can only write in the summers ) I tend to be a night owl, so I write after he goes to sleep, but often he will only sleep on me, so luckily I have a laptop and a TV tray and a sling. It all works out fine! Wait a second, I'm supposed to be working on the climax right now...how in the heck did I get on MDC??? (Oh, and it's good to find ways to keep yourself from getting distracted...cool, I have a new email!)
