Anyone due LATE Nov. hoping for a Dec. birth date?

Okay, for all the late November mamas.

I am SO hoping this 11/30 due date (that might actually be 11/23, if you don't go by the 35 day cycle that I had just started before the pregnancy) stretches to December because... I am embarassed to say... I REALLY like Turquoise MUCH better than Topaz!!

There, I've said it. And I stand by my materialism for birth stones.

I'm hoping to go a little late because I am due about five days after the end of the fall opera season as it is...and I don't have a lot of sick leave...nor do we get paid maternity leave. So the later the better! To a point...I don't want to have to be induced and go through all that trauma.

I'm a December babe, and I don't think I even have any turquoise!

I would actually love Halloween, especially since that would be about 38 weeks. What my babies decide though is still up in the air.

I'm due 11/20, and though I can't wait to see this little angel, I'm hoping for as close to Thanksgiving weekend as possible so my mom can get off work for the birth.

I'm hoping for less than 40 weeks because Titus's birthday is Dec 4! I don't mind them being close, but even a little bit into december and they're spot on the same!

Oooh, turquoise is the birth stone for December?? I now have an excuse to buy myself something turquoise!!! The boys are Garnet, which I'm not crazy about at all - I look bad in red.

I'm like Sarah. My DS's b'day is dec 7th. This one is officially due Nov 15th. I hope to go as close to that as poss so their b'days can be a few weeks apart. I was 4 days late with DS so who knows. I'm already drinking rrl tea to help go on time and quickly compared to DS being 4 days late and 24 hour labor.

An extra long pregnancy for a birthstone? Heck no! I'm sure I'll be sick to death of climbing stairs to get to the bathroom by then and won't care about much else but gettin' the baby OUT!

i'm due 20th november, and i would have to go about 1.5-2 weeks late to have a december baby but for some reason i have this feeling i will! isn't that weird?

maybe it's because my mother was 1.5-2.5 weeks "late" with all three of us.

lol...i'm due 12/09 and am hoping to make it to thanksgiving. my others were 39, 35, 30 , and 37 wks. we have natalie 12/09/05, my step son william 12/06/96 and me 12/23/1970something!

I have thought about going into Dec. Unlikely since I am due 11/12 but my kiddos have been 13 days late (induction, who knows how much longer it might have been) and 9 days late. And in March I was at the birth of a baby who was 15 days late when the first baby had been a week early. So I guess it is possible, though I will be reeeaally grumpy if that happens.

Unfortunately I don't like turquoise any better than topaz. Bah.

ME ME ME!!! I'm due 11/27 and hoping that this little one will be born on 12/1. I simply don't want a Thanksgiving baby since I host the holiday at my home (and have 10-14 houseguests for days) every other year. Thankfully, this is my off year. Plus, 11/27 is my sister's birthday.

I know at 36 weeks with DD I was ready anytime and the last four weeks were terrible. So we'll see, I might change my tune. And of course, I know this baby will come in its own time.

I'm a December baby myself and the birth stone is Blue Topaz... which is much prettier than the yellowy-orange one. *laugh*

I do not blame you! My son and dear friend are November babies and it took me a while to let that color grow on me. I did some research on it though and as it turns out, some Feng-sui (I think) says to put it in the forward left corner of a room for fortune and such. I got some large stones and now smile when I see them and have come to love them.
