Finally the real deal

I think we'll finally be getting our little one today! I took some EPO yesterday and started having ctx. They are really light but the baby dropped with a plop yesterday afternoon so I'm getting pressure too. I lost a huge gob of plug this morning and the ctx are picking up. Yay! I'm 42w today so I'm ready as I'll ever be. Hoping for my HBAC

My water broke about 16 hours ago. I've pretty much been in active labor since then. I've been fully dilated for about 5 hrs but no progress. Any suggestions? I've slept, went up and down the stairs, had ctx on the toilet, walked through many ctx, bounced on the birth ball. Baby is loa/lot. I'm getting discouraged.

And you've been pushing? I know that pushing without the urge may not be *ideal*, but if you are fully dialated and babe is in a good position I don't see any harm. . .
I hope you're holding your bundle of joy by now though. . .

oh mama, it will be soon! have you tried sitting backwards on the toilet? i was at a friend's birth a few years ago and she was having a very long labor. somebody suggested she sit backwards on the toilet and it really helped.
