Bleeding

I'm 7 weeks today, and I'm bleeding. It's red, it's not very heavy (but definitely not spotting) and there is no pain. I would appreciate any prayers at this point, if you can offer them.

I had that, it was a bleed from a sch (they think) because they never really found a good reason. It was about 7 weeks, was really heavy and red with no cramping.
I'd get checked out regardless. There is hope, though!!

I had that at seven weeks with my youngest. Started out a little but got heavy enough that I thought I was miscarrying. Because I'd already had a m/c I didn't do anything like lay down or anything, I had a baby to take care of and couldn't just stop everything. It was bright red and everything, but I've got a healthy little boy right here. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the thoughts, well wishes, and encouraging stories. I have mixed news.

The bleeding is still going. But, I'm not cramping, There have only been one or two clumps, and I haven't even filled a pad yet. I generally speaking have notoriously light periods, and it looks and feels like my normal period. Certainly it doesn't compare to what I'd expect for a miscarriage at 7 weeks, and I honestly believe I'm not miscarrying. My midwife told me to use some wild yam cream, which I am, and I plan on calling the OB on Monday to get an ultrasound.

I'm moving tomorrow, and planning on letting my friends move for me

Thinking of you.

Just last Tuesday I had some bleeding.... at 6w, 1d. It was bright red at first with like a 3 inch circle on my pants, (i thought for sure it was another m/c) then light brown spotting (only when i wiped) but went to the doc the next day, had the appt. anyway, and at 6w, 2d, there was a little hb in the corner. the doc said the pregnancy is detaching from the uterine wall, but from that point on, i have had no more bleeding or spotting, so i guess thats good, right? he also said that theres a really good chance this could turn into a normal healthy pregnancy, I will be 7 weeks tomorrow

so i am right there with you ashley in needing them stickey vibes. BTW, to you. What is wild yam cream, and whats it supposed to do?

Thanks for the wellwishes! The bleeding is still there, but it seems to be getting lighter. Im also not in any pain whatsoever, and I have my full range of pregnancy symptoms. The move went well, and I did very little lifting. I love my friends.

I guess wild yam cream is supposed to help with your progesterone, but it's rather expensive ($20ish a jar).

Good luck, I hope all is well. Are you still calling to be checked in the morning?

I'm glad to hear it's slowing. I just found out that my aunt bled regularly throughout both her pregnancies, just like she got her period. But she's got two healthy adult boys now.

'Course it must have sucked monkey fur to get her period WHILE she was pregnant. Blech. It's supposed to be a period vacation! :
