Wow, maybe we need to switch to your bank! We're with Outreach/Xytex, which we chose because our initial email talks with Repromed were quite snarky on their end, and the other bank (CamAm?) had about two donors we would consider. We didn't really look at costs between banks, because my initial quick research showed that it was fairly similar from one to another. But, I could easily have been looking at outdated or no longer relevant info. Our washed, ID release sperm is just over 550$ per vial. Pricey. But, assuming it works within a few cycles, still cheaper than other methods.
It's really hard to compare between the banks without calculating the total cost - I.e. Can-Am may have cheaper sperm, but Xytex charges more for shipping...etc. I did total costs per cycle to calculate. It also depends on where you are. My charges from Repromed break down like this:

- Sperm, unwashed, 295 per vial X 2 = 590
- Handling charge, per order = 35
- Shipping, per order, local to Toronto = 75
Total: 700 + GST on the delivery (weird, eh? The rest of it is non-taxable.)
= 706 something.

With washed sperm, it's 375 per vial, IIRC.

hmmm. 60%, eh? that's kind of intimidating to me for some reason. :

I was hoping to use a fertility monitor and inseminate at home too. do you all know anyone who's inseminated at home succesfully? how long did it take?

need to go search for Lexbeach threads now..the username name sounds familiar!
