Need references supporting extended bf'ing

I got slammed in court today by ex's attorney because I still occasionally nurse my child.

I thought I would prepare a packet for my attorney listing the resources (the more mainstream and pillar of society-ish, the better) that support extended breastfeeding and say that there's no harm to the child in it.

Anyone got any links or books for me?

American Academy of Pediatrics:
"It is recommended that breastfeeding continue for at least 12 months, and thereafter for as long as mutually desired."

World Health Organization:
" Breastfeeding is an unequalled way of providing ideal food for the healthy growth and development of infants; it is also an integral part of the reproductive process with important implications for the health of mothers. A recent review of evidence has shown that, on a population basis, exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months is the optimal way of feeding infants. Thereafter infants should receive complementary foods with continued breastfeeding up to 2 years of age or beyond."

American Academy of Family Physicians:
"Breastfeeding should ideally continue beyond infancy, but this is currently not the cultural norm and requires ongoing support and encouragement.85 If the child is younger than two years of age, the child is at increased risk of illness if weaned."

Yes, and in 2005 they added language saying there is no harm to nursing until three years or beyond.

s: I'm sorry you're going through this. PP'ers already covered the links I know of. Since your ex has no studies to back up that it's harmful and you have all this I'm sure things will go your way. Please keep us posted!
