For numerous reasons, dh and I have decided to move across the US (WA to SC) at the beginning of November. My family is in the area we're moving to so once we get there we will have help settling in and such. Our dd will be 2 in November and our baby will be around 4 months old.
I have moved across country several times before (GA to WA, back again, and then back to WA once more...), but I was 2, 5, and 7 years old at the time so my parents were in charge of most of the moving plans and my younger siblings.
I would love to hear any long-distance moving tips (and stories) you may have! I will probably be flying down with the babies and staying with my mom. My dad says that he can probably fly up here so that he and dh can swap off driving the u-haul (towing our car). Also... any packing/organising tips that would help with two such young children would be much appreciated as well.
love and peace.
