Curved Cervix-Problem for natural birth?

Hi!
I had my 17 week ultrasound today to make sure a hematoma had resolved (it did, yay!) and the technician commented that my cervix is curved. Is there any reason I should be concerned?

I have had one vaginal childbirth but had many tears and stitches. I always assumed that they were due to my being induced, and not due to any bodily function or problem.

Thanks!!

Since the cervix is pulled up in to the lower segment of the uterus, it will essentially vanish. You shouldn't have any concerns related to a "curved cervix".

Thanks for your reply.
The technicians response to it was alarming and when she showed the films to the radiologist proper, he sent her back in to take another shot of it. Of course this put me on edge. *sigh*

I'm sure you're right, it doesn't make sense that it would interfere with delivery. Thanks again!
