the hospital birth we never expected, induced but no further interventions and baby's blood sugar just fine, despite GD.

Congratulations, and extra congratulations on controlling your blood sugar and avoiding the newborn hypoglycemia with all the interventions that come along with it. That is always my greatest fear in late pregnancy! Can't wait to see the full birth story!
