No, actually not this time, but no regrets! I did have a C - Iit was confirmed during my regular non stress test & ultrasound on Monday that my placenta had diminishing function (that's why last week my fluid levels were low... they kept dropping, no matter how much I drank!) and DS was nearly out of fluid when I came in that morning for my test. So, combined with his breech position, docs were unable to turn him (too dangerous - his cord was already being compressed with my contractions), and since we couldn't induce due to a previous C, we performed a repeat C a few hours later. My doc was very understanding & caring - we checked & rechecked with ultrasound, monitored my contractions for several hours, I even got an internal exam (in the hopes that I had dilated a bit - since I was contracting!) Fortunately, I was awake for the procedure, and was able to hold my baby IMMEDIATELY after he was born - on the operating table, while I was being sewn up. It was the most glorious moment, particularly in light of my previous C when I barely got a glimpse of DD before they wisked her away to be cleaned, etc...I didn't get to see her for an hour. The hospital staff was very patient & understanding of our requests - of course, we WERE insistant!

DS scored 9s on both apgars, and though technically a 36 week "premie", he was a subtantial 6lbs 15oz

He only lost 5 oz while in the hospital, and has already started to gain! I am thrilled beyond words at how perfect he is... especially in light of his earliness & the stress at the end of my pregnancy.
And we only had to spend 3 days in the hospital - woo hoo!!
