DS is doing so well - has already gained back & surpassed his birth weight - yay breastmilk!
He's still on the phototherapy blanket at home, to get his bilirubin levels down... and today we got the first decline in readings since his birth. He has jaundice due to a blood incompatibility with me - my daughter had the same - but so fortunately with DS, we were able to treat DS at home with a mobile phototherapy system, instead of in an incubator in the hospital (like DD). And no supplementing either, since my milk came in so quickly this time! Woo hoo!
I will breathe a sigh of relief once he's off the lights. Tomorrow is his one week check up (a couple days late)... so exciting.
Thanks again everyone! Its so funny to see my calendar on my computer pop up each week to announce my "week" in pregnancy... when I already have my baby! I'm sure you're all getting anxious... June is almost here!!!!!
