My 3yo has developed a new protesting skill. When things don't go her way, she lets out a really, really painful shriek. I ask her to use words, and try and talk her through her frustration, "you really want to do xyz, and you're mad that we can't" she just shrieks again... I'm trying to turn a blind eye - er - ear. Anyone have any ideas, is this part of having a spirited 3yo girl? Ouch!!!
