anyone do this?

My parents bought me a bouquet of flowers for mothers day and they are still alive and smell better and better each day. So i would love to keep that fragrance.
any tips on drying them? How to make them into potpourri? I havent a clue!
Thankyou

I tie them together and hang them upside down. I haven't down it since I lived in my old apartment but I tied the bouquet w/ a shoe string, tied the shoe string to a clothes hanger, and hung it up. Vary height based on nosy children and pets.

hanging upside down to dry is what i have done before. i'm not sure about potpourri. while the very fragrant flowers will still smell after they are dired, it's nothing like when they were fresh. most potpourri have added scents to them, i think. some dried herbs/flowers smell wonderful when dried, but they won't give off scent like ones with oils and things in them.
